All the things in the title of this post are good things really. They are. Except for one small problem, they all seem to involve cake, chips and pubs. This has not been a good week for counting points unless there is a competition to see who can end up with the most points. I am so going to win that competition. I hope the prize is another massive chocolate cake because I’ve just finished off the last one.
Oh, and that breakfast habit? I so haven’t been doing that.
Anyway, tomorrow is another day. Lets start again.
See those other posts. That. Again.
So this time it is definitely the time. This time things will change. Perhaps they won’t change quickly. Perhaps each change will be tiny. But change.
This time, this time I’m counting on vanity. The summer is nearly here. There will be more photos of the family cavorting on the beach. I would like to not want to cry when I see that I look like a very solid tree trunk.
But what to do?
I shall start tracking what I eat. I’m going to use the online Weight Watchers because I am still paying for it from previous weight loss attempts. And then we shall see what we shall see.
I’d be fibbing if I claimed that this was the first time to try to lose this weight. Or the second time. Or even the fourth. In fact there have been a thousand tries that failed before breakfast time.
But this time, this time I really want to lose it. Once again I have looked at my holiday photos and cringed. Let’s face it, posing behind my children won’t fool anyone. And more to the point it won’t fool me.
So, for now, the plan is to keep a food journal, look at doing Weight Watchers and start running again.
