Juneathon – Day 3

Oh, hangover.  It’s been a while since I had one and I’d forgotten just how hard they are to shake.  We had a babysitter last night and so were forced, forced I tell you, to go to the pub.  So Juneathon Day 3 was a bit of a problem.

As luck would have it the weather was cold and rainy and it looked like it might actually make me feel better to get out into it.  Plus we needed milk and Weetabix.  So much to the surprise and consternation of my family I headed out to run to the shops the long way.

Distance: 3.64 km

Time: 29:23 Avg

Pace: 8:04 min/km

  1. Well done! Seems hungover running was the theme for yesterday. Where in the UK are you? Perhaps we could meet up for a parkrun during Juneathon? I’m close to St Albans, Milton Keynes and Bedford. I bet you’re miles away aren’t you…

    • Ohhhhh, I might be able to get to Bedford sometime! There would have to be extensive negotiations with the rest of the family to escape the constantly hectic social calender that the under tens seem to have but I’m sure something could be arranged.
